The University of the Cordilleras – Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (UC-JPIA) along with other student organizations filled the UC Gymnasium with various gimmicks for this year’s Open House to introduce and show off their organizations to freshmen students.

Through their colorful booth, challenging accounting related activities and fine explanation, the UC-JPIA strived to introduce the organization and invite interested students particularly freshmen College of Accountancy (COA) students to become a member of the organization. The organization also encouraged the students to be active for the activities and events that UC-JPIA will soon organize for COA students.

According to UC-JPIA VP for Membership Sean Johannes Pulquiso, “As accounting students, your college life would be more exciting when joining organizations, particularly JPIA. For me, joining this organization helped boost my confidence and my leadership skills. As an accounting student, joining gave me many benefits through the tutorials and seminars held by JPIA and events that were conducted in collaboration with other organizations”.
