In a celebration of excellence, the University of the Cordilleras College of Accountancy honored its CPA board exam passers at the Amber Hall, Hotel Supreme on January 31, 2025. While several graduates achieved their CPA certification, eight distinguished passers attended to share their success stories.

The evening’s spotlight shone on Mark Owen Garcia, who secured an impressive 8th place in the national rankings. Joining him were fellow achievers Danah Depollo, Jea Gammod, Mikaela Juan, Ammynah Jane Lapsot, Charlie Genese Mapanao, Shannon Sepian, and Ricci Anne Serafica, each sharing compelling testimonials that reflected both personal triumph and the program’s academic excellence.

UC Board of Trustees Chairman Ray Dean D. Salvosa graced the event, personally extending his congratulations to the successful examinees. The celebration, expertly hosted by Hannah Tongnawa and Carylle Manaois, featured special performances by Hero Alexis Quiao and Charles Dela Cruz, elevating the evening’s celebratory spirit.

This gathering stood as more than a celebration—it showcased UC’s dedication to molding world-class accounting professionals poised to make significant contributions to the field. Each success story shared affirmed the institution’s commitment to excellence and its role in shaping the future of accounting in the Philippines.
