The University of the Cordilleras (UC) transformed into a global hub of cultural diversity and celebration as it hosted the 2023 United Nations Celebration, organized by the UC International Students’ Office (UC-ISO), on November 6-7 at the UC Theater.

The event showcased an array of colorful and vibrant country booths presented by various participating organizations of the university, offering a delightful and immersive experience of the customs, traditions, and cuisine of their respective countries.

The University of the Cordilleras Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (UC JPIA) from the College of Accountancy (COA) was among the participating organizations that exhibited their unique country booth, representing the country of France and featuring the city of Paris. UCJPIA’s booth, “Le Petit Cafe,” offered a gastronomic experience with its delectable coffee and pastry offerings.

A prestigious “Country Booth Voter’s Choice Award” awaits the booth with the most votes garnered. Voting is available from November 7 to 10 by liking the UC-ISO Facebook page and reacting to the photo of the voter’s preferred booth posted by the UC-ISO.
