A team from the College of Accountancy (COA) secured a Top 12 finish at the HSBC Business Case Competition 2026, held on April 18 at the HSBC Centre, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.
Competing under the team name “Rawrvenue,” the COA delegation was composed of Ma. Alyzza Nicole Alfonso, Chris Jericho Ordanza, Arfiele Zhairome Ramiscal, and Enrico Alessandro Tolentino. The team was coached by Dean Jasmin P. Baniaga.
Selected from a competitive pool of universities nationwide, Team Rawrvenue advanced to the national stage, where they demonstrated strong analytical thinking and effective presentation skills. Although the team did not progress to the final round—limited to the top three finalists—their Top 12 placement underscores their capability in tackling complex, real-world business challenges.
Now in its 10th year, the competition remains one of the longest-running business case competitions in the country. The winning team will go on to represent the Philippines in the Asian round, competing against top university teams across the region.
COA’s participation highlights the college’s continued commitment to academic excellence and experiential learning, providing students with opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge in high-level competitive settings.
